The Isle of Arran is often described as "Scotland in miniature" as it combines all Scottish features in a compact area. Brodick Castle is 1km away and is well known for its beautiful gardens. A popular hillwalk is through Glen Rosa and to the summit of Goat Fell at 2668ft.

The scenery throughout Arran is beautiful and a tour of the whole island is not to be missed.

As the grandparent I loved the self contained loft bedroom en suite ( no bath or shower though) & balcony area. Fridge & kettle but no tv or radio. Dated bathroom & kitchen in the main area but comfortable & spacious making it ideal for a young family."
